Which robot vacuums handle thick rugs?

Rug ratings, chassis lift and mop lift, robot by robot.

Updated Oct 23, 2026.

Only the eufy Omni S2 is rated for rugs up to 2 in, which it handles by lifting its chassis. The Roborock Saros 20 is rated for carpet pile up to 1.18 in, and Narwal’s page description says the Freo Z10 Turbo supports rugs under 0.79 in, without saying how that is measured. The Saros 10R and Saros 10 lift their chassis 0.39 in. The others publish no rug rating or chassis lift; the table shows what each does with its mops.

A rug rating or chassis lift says whether a robot can climb and clean a thick rug. A mop lift only says how it keeps the rug dry.
